Well established and growing organization in Southeast Houston seeks a Financial Modeling Analyst. This is a newly created role due to growth. The role will focus heavily on financial modeling but also handle financial analysis, cost analysis, in-depth forecasting, capex projects, investment evaluations and more.
Financial Modeling Analyst Job Requirements
- Analysis of results and forecasts including KPI’s, capital investments and profitability measures
- Supports operating companies with developing sound investment proposals for expansions and acquisitions
- Appraises investment proposals and advises the management team
- Monitors capex controlling and reporting
- Responsible for supporting the development team with financial aspects of business development such as building financial models and ensuring accuracy of financial assumptions
- Some travel may be required
- Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally expected scope of this position
Financial Modeling Analyst Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or similar degree required
- 3+ years’ experience doing financial modeling
- Experience in petroleum, petrochemical, chemical and related industries preferred
