Our client a global premium spirits and wine company is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team in Sonoma. This individual will be responsible for all aspects capital expenditure, P+L Reporting, and acting as business partner to cost centers, providing insight to support strategic decision making.
Responsibilities:
- Timely, accurate and insightful reporting of actual, budget and latest estimates for: All aspects of Profit and Loss Statements, Indirect cost centers, and KPI’s based on agreed production performance measures
- Prepare support documentation for P&L, Support Cost Centers and Balance Sheet to be presented to the Executive Management
- Review, analyze and reconcile transactions for Balance Sheet Accounts (Fixed Assets, Receivable & Payable Accounts, Accrual and Provision Accounts)
- Develop and maintain Capex processes in line with the Group guidelines
- Work with the Operational Teams in order to prepare capex request submissions including ROI analysis
- Deliver insight to management on operational performance variances and generate and implement corrective actions
- Regular communication with regional accounting and business analysis teams to support information requirements & PRISMA submissions
- Support the implementation of financial best practice and operational finance KPI’s
- Continuous improvement focus on process, reporting and analysis
- Other Projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
- CPA, MBA, Post graduate qualifications preferred
- 1-3 years of finance experience
- Experience in the wine industry preferred
