Our client, a leader and innovator in medical device manufacturing, is looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to join their team. This role is will work closely with the Director of Finance, at the company’s El Segundo, CA location.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely, accurate and insightful reporting of production metrics and cost information to internal stakeholders.
- Assist in gathering, manipulating, analyzing and reporting of production data, by utilizing Business Intelligence tools
- Prepare support documentation for P&L, Monthly KPIs, tracking Cost Saving projects, and tracking Price Increase impacts.
- Prepare variance analysis for monthly results to budget and prior periods.
- Work closely with manufacturing sites to develop key metrics, track productivity, and support Operations Leaders by providing timely and accurate operational and financial data.
- Perform Cost Analysis and other operational effectiveness analysis by using established tools and developing new tools as needed.
- Participate in cross-functional work teams to articulate the financial impact of changing manufacturing processes or materials.
- Undertakes ad-hoc projects and utilize available tools (such as data warehouse, general ledger, Cognos, Microsoft Office Tools, etc.) to prepare reports and complete analysis.
- Support the implementation of financial best practice and operational finance KPI’s
- Continuous improvement focus on process, reporting and analysis
- Other Projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
- 2+ years’ experience in financial and operational data analyses and reporting
- Manufacturing experience required
- Oracle and Cognos experience preferred
