Job Description: The Field Service Technician’s primary function is to travel to customer sites to install and repair laser products. They will also train and provide technical support to customers.
Location: Anywhere within 1 hour of a major metro airport.
Requirements: Prefer electro-mechanical candidates, with a clean driving record, that are open to heavy travel. A few of the hires were AEs that worked on fiber optics. Electrical piece is a must for them outside of seeing a Nuke ET. Any experience with fiber optic components will put them ahead of the pack.
Compensation: $25-30/hr ($52,000 - $62,400) plus OT and benefits.
Travel: Will mainly fly to client sites and likely be gone Mon-Fri. Will use personal vehicle, and get reimbursed mileage at IRS rate, when travelling in the area.
Shift: Mostly a Mon-Fri day-shift role. May have to flex depending on customer needs.
