Lucas Group has partnered with our client, North America’s leading provider of natural gas fuel and renewable natural gas (RNG) fuel for transportation, on their search for a Field Service Technician in Corpus Christi TX. What You Will Do:
- Inspect, maintain and repair the fueling equipment at assigned stations
- Travel from site to site doing equipment and control maintenance; typically travel to multiple stations daily, making sure safety interlocks for shut-down systems are working properly or automatically rebuilding compressors after 5000 hours of use; maintain all fueling related equipment and structures in accordance with guidelines
- Inspect, maintain, adjust, repair or replace electrical equipment (electrical wiring, conduit, panels, switch gear, switches, gauges, transducers, solenoids, gas dryers, actuators, motors, meters and controls)
- Inspect, maintain, adjust, repair or replace mechanical equipment (compressors pumps, engines, intercoolers, after coolers, heat exchangers, piping, tubing, fittings, filters, traps, gas dryers, fasteners, valves and actuators)
- Repair, replace, and adjust malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition
- Conduct periodic inspections of fueling locations and equipment to determine that operating conditions are met
- Maintain operational data information (fluid levels, temperatures and pressures, etc); compare to trends and have the ability to make corrections as needed
Skills Needed
- Must have experience with heavy industrial equipment.
- Must have a clean driving record and able to provide basic tools.
