We are looking for a Front End Developer to join a collaborative team working on modern, user-focused web applications with a geospatial twist. The role is fully remote and initially offered as a 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension.
You will be responsible for building and enhancing enterprise-grade front-end applications using Ext JS and Angular, integrating with REST APIs and working closely with UX, backend, GIS, and DevOps teams.
Responsibilities
Build scalable, responsive web applications using Ext JS and Angular
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user experiences
Integrate mapping libraries and geospatial services into applications
Consume and integrate REST APIs (JSON/XML) with front-end code
Ensure secure coding practices and modular development
Work with backend, GIS, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Support Agile delivery in Scrum ceremonies
Skills Required
Strong experience with Ext JS (Sencha Ext JS)
Solid Angular development experience
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
Experience with REST APIs and web services (JSON/XML)
Version control experience (Git or TFS)
Agile/Scrum delivery experience
