(Exploratory) Lead Data Architect

Lead Data Architect, Large-Scale SAP S/4HANA Transformation Programme

We're looking for a Lead Data Architect to shape and drive the data landscape behind a major, global business transformation programme built around SAP S/4HANA.
Headlines:

• Outside of IR35
• Remote
• Day rate Approx 750-900 (Flex if required)
• Long term engagement (Likely 12m upfront contract)

This is a mid-manager level role at the heart of a genuinely large-scale programme, giving you real ownership across enterprise data architecture, governance and the wider data estate, working alongside both business leadership and technology teams to get it right.

What you'll do:

• Define and own the enterprise data architecture strategy across the transformation programme
• Lead data governance, master data management and the broader data landscape design
• Provide architectural direction across data migration and integration workstreams
• Bridge business and technology stakeholders, translating strategy into practical, deliverable architecture

What you'll bring:

• Strong enterprise data architecture experience, ideally gained on SAP S/4HANA-enabled transformations
• Confidence across data governance, master data and data migration/integration disciplines
• A collaborative, stakeholder-savvy style, equally comfortable in the boardroom and in the detail
• Experience operating at a senior/lead level on large, complex programmes
