Our client in Marina Del Rey, an exciting health and fitness focused start-up, is looking for an Office Manager to help them accomplish their mission. This person will support the company’s 100+ person office and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all areas of the office are neatly organized, including the kitchen, supplies, conference rooms, etc.
- Work directly with the Property Manager to handle parking, office improvements, and specific office needs; coordinate building repairs and maintenance
- Plan company-wide events, including holiday parties and happy hours
- Manage daily catering/food program, snack ordering, and food waste company
- Organizing all company-wide meetings weekly and company “shoutouts”
- Draft messaging to employees about office updates, events, and more
- Track spending for all employee experience programs; process expense reports
Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience in a customer service position
- Proficient with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Docs, and Sheets, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated high level of self-motivation to drive effectiveness and efficiency
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Excessive attention to detail, accuracy, and organized
- Willingness and ability to adapt to changing priorities as the organization grows
