The ETL Developer works closely with the Finance, Operations, Business Intelligence, and Investment teams to maintain and improve the data infrastructure and turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, and/or any other Quantitative/Technical field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of direct technical experience
- Proficiency with SQL and multiple software programming languages, ideally within the Microsoft family of services
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, ideally Microsoft Azure, and data structures along with associated services such as SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
- Demonstrated experience with visualization software such as Power BI or Tableau
- An understanding of web programming and design including proficiency in HTML, CSS, Javascript preferred
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision, think critically and deliver superior output that is fully tested, fully documented and in alignment with what is needed
- Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using SQL and other scripting languages; development experience in designing and delivering data management/business intelligence solutions.
