Equity Administration Consultant

Overview

  • Provide hands on support for equity administration and stock based compensation programs
  • Partner with internal teams and employees to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely execution of equity processes
  • Support ongoing equity operations, reporting, and accounting functions

Key Responsibilities

  • Support stock?based compensation (SBC) accounting activities in accordance with ASC 718
  • Assist with equity plan administration across the full equity lifecycle
  • Process monthly equity grants and vesting events
  • Administer employee stock option (ESO) exercises, including tax reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate equity data and records within equity administration systems
  • Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, HR, Legal, and Tax teams on equity transactions and reporting
  • Support equity reconciliations, audits, and period?end close activities
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding equity awards, vesting schedules, exercises, and taxation
  • Assist with equity plan setup, maintenance, and governance
  • Document processes and support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Experience in equity administration, stock based compensation, or related compensation roles
  • Working knowledge of equity lifecycle processes and ASC 718 requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate equity concepts clearly and professionally
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting public or private company equity programs
  • Familiarity with equity administration platforms
  • Experience with equity reporting, reconciliations, or audits
  • Advanced Excel or reporting skills
