Design components that will be manufactured by: casting, bending, rolling, welding, machining
Materials used: sheet metal
Ensure specifications meet international standards
Tolerance analysis
Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
Design for Six Sigma (DFSS)
Design for Manufacturing Assembly (DFMA)
Requirements:
10+ years management
BSME
Experience in product design and development in an R&D environment
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T) practices per ANSI Y14.5
