Energy Paralegal (DC, NY, West Coast Offices) (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with our client, a top-ranked US law firm, on its search for an Energy Paralegal with FERC experience. The work is primarily in DC, but the role is open in any of the firm’s US offices. However, the candidate must be willing to work in East-Coast business hours. The firm is currently working remotely due to Covid.

Scope of Responsibilities:

• All phases of proceedings before FERC, state regulatory commissions, and Federal and State Courts
• Research, discovery, and drafting pleadings

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Degree:      
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree, or Paralegal Certificate preferred
  • Will consider transferrable skills in lieu of degree
• Work Experience:
  • Minimum three years experience as an energy paralegal with FERC experience required
  • Complex Commercial Litigation experience preferred
