Role Overview:  Lucas Group has partnered with a privately-held holding company of a 3,000+ employee manufacturer on their search for an Employee Benefits Analyst located northwest suburban Chicago. Reporting directly to the Director of Benefits, this individual will assist in the development of benefits strategies, plans, and programs in addition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of benefits programs in the company. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, motivated individual in an expanding organization.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Employee Benefits Analyst oversees all aspects of the Health and Welfare benefits delivery through strong functional knowledge of regulatory and HR/Benefits business practices. This individual will have proven experience with managing vendors and key stakeholders, AOE, benefit administration recordkeeping, project management and implementation oversight. This role will support benefit design initiatives, requests for proposal and annual compliance reporting and disclosures.  Provides guidance, support to Benefits and Corporate or Divisional function as needed.   

Requirements:

• Five (5) or more years of benefits administration experience required
• Complex project management with end to end planning and execution experience
• Excellent analytical, communication (both verbal and written), and interpersonal skills; attention to detail coupled by a high-level of intellectual curiosity to ensure highest level of quality and rigor in benefit administration processes, reporting & data analysis
• Experience managing vendors and working with internal stakeholders; ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive employee information
• ADP (Payroll) and Oracle (HRIS) experience
• Professional Certifications i.e. CEBS, SHRP, a plus
