Lucas Group has partnered with our Consumer Products client in the Towns River area on their search for an Electro Mechanical Technician.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, Repair, and Test: industrial machines, building systems, electronic systems, production/utility equipment, mechanical components, hydraulic components, pneumatic components
- Install: wiring, conduits, electrical apparatuses
- Design/Draw: wiring diagram/layout, panel layouts
- Modify electronic control systems
- Adhere to departmental procedures and policies
- Establish preventative maintenance schedules
Skills Needed:
- Computer skills are needed to interface with modern equipment and tools
- AC and DC motors
- PLC troubleshooting
- VFD troubleshooting
- Relay control and analog systems
- Building electrical systems
- Advanced knowledge of electrical power and control as well as pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical principles
- Electrical measuring instruments
Educational & Work Requirements:
- Degree: No degree required
- Work Experience:
- 5+ years industrial equipment/electrical repairs
- Former Military members are highly desired and encouraged to apply
