Performs engineering assignments with a focus on electronic circuits and systems.  Manages engineering projects and provides technical leadership to the electrical engineering department.  Approves designs of co-workers and prepares reports for the department and presents project progress to sponsors and management
 
  1. Ideate, evaluate and develop new technologies for use in surgical power tool applications.
  2. Create and execute test plans to verify motor performance and design limits
  3. Perform root cause failure analysis of motor test failures
  4. Builds, tests, and debugs prototypes and test fixtures for electronic assemblies
  5. Draw concise, logical, written conclusions from experiments based on data analysis
  6. Researches relevant technologies which can be utilized in service capability and new product designs.
  7. Identify performance and cost tradeoffs of competing electronic design solutions.
  8. Creates and maintains design and process documentation.
  9. Manages planning, scheduling, reporting for assigned projects and delegates tasks as needed.
  10. Works under minimal supervision.
