Lucas Group has partnered with a Consulting Company in metro Atlanta area seeking a full-time electrical engineer to assist in the design and development of electrical, instrumentation and control design systems.
Responsibilities to include but limited to:
- Preparation of power studies
- Design power distribution systems for industrial and commercial facilities
- Assess and modify existing power distribution systems
- Prepare electrical drawings using AutoCAD
- Site visits for power and control systems data collection (less than 10% travel is expected)
- Track project timelines to complete tasks on schedule
- Project management and coordination with other disciplines.
Skills/Job Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical Engineering
- Ability to prepare power studies including short circuit, relay coordination and arc flash analysis using Easy Power, ETAP or SKM programs without assistance
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Previous experience in electrical design engineering and Power Studies preparation
- Knowledge of power distribution system design standards and SCADA system design
- Familiarity with instrumentation and control systems
