Ecommerce Channel Manager
The Ecommerce Channel Manager will be responsible for online revenue and marketing through Amazon.com (Hybrid Model) as well as other online accounts. The successful candidate will create Ecommerce marketing strategies for optimizing direct and indirect revenue; increasing new customer acquisition and will work cross functionally with the Marketing, Creative, Operations, Finance and Sales teams.
- Forecast quarterly targets and inventory to meet our financial and operational goals
- Develop and execute marketing strategy focused on accelerating Amazon growth
- Plan and manage promotional and advertising activity, closely monitor plan performance and drive necessary changes to exceed targets
- Manage and grow the account, conduct quarterly business reviews on and off-site, and maintain relationship with key amazon stakeholders
- Maintain online retailer portals and listing documents including new product set up, ensuring data accuracy and channel specific content optimization
- Manage creation of Amazon support tickets and escalate issues
- Provide retailer content strategy and maintain site content and banners
- Weekly & monthly reporting on inventory, sales, category, competitor information and advertising campaigns with recommendations on optimization
- Monitor product reviews, feedback and research competitor landscape, action trends and learnings
- Involvement in overall eCommerce customer service, order management and processing, with a focus on improving fulfillment and operational excellence
- Continuously drive online revenue growth by applying a clear understanding of the brand, consumers and industry trends
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum 2-3 years direct eCommerce sales/account management experience, Amazon or marketplace selling preferred
- Knowledge and experience in Vendor or Seller Central, preferably both
- Experience working with key/strategic accounts within the personal care or beauty space is preferred
- Experience managing large, multi-faceted trade budgets
- Strong business acumen, problem solving, analytical, planning and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to effectively align and integrate ecommerce business strategies with overall strategic sales channel and create an omni-channel strategy, yielding significant growth
- Solid understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices and implementation
- Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
- Very strong presentation and communication skills required
