Our client in North Houston seeks a Divisional Controller to handle financial and operational reporting. Key responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management. This will supervise the close process and liaise with external auditors.
Controller Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee the closing activities for the company including the preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Support the monthly and annual consolidation processes.
- Support the interim and annual audit processes with the Group’s external auditors and other third parties.
- Complete reporting, processes, flash reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts and KPI’s with assigned entities.
- Weekly and long-term cash flow management.
- Support monthly, quarterly and annual tax filing and government compliance reporting.
- Liaise with IT and HR on operations, systems and compliance.
- Assist with the development of accounting and reporting "best practices.”
- Manage, hire, train and mentor staff.
Controller Requirements Include:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- CPA or Chartered Accountant required.
- 10+ years’ work general accounting related to the listed responsibilities.
- 5+ years of management experience or Controller experience.
