Distribution Manager (Closed)

We are exclusively partnering with our client, a rapidly growing plastics manufacturing company, on a Distribution Manager role based out of North Houston. This is a very visible and essential position and will report directly to the VP of Operations. 

The Distribution Manager will be responsible for managing the distribution operations and functions within an organization. They will handle all trucking and distribution functions for the specific location. Supervises and coordinates activities of all dispatchers, drivers, field service personnel and truck maintenance.

Job Requirements

• This person needs to have experience working with Big Box Retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, etc.
• Ensures safety rules are strictly observed & safety training is regularly scheduled, conducted & documented, correct unsafe practices or conditions without delay, promote safety awareness of employees and create a mechanism in which the supervisors are actively participating and held accountable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in an industrial industry or related industries in operations.
