We are exclusively partnering with our client, a rapidly growing wholesale electrical distribution company on a Distribution Center Manager role based out of their Houston distribution center. This is a very visible and essential position and will report directly to the District Director of Operations. This role offers a competitive base salary with a discretionary bonus opportunity. Complete responsibility for all operations activities in a distribution center environment.
Responsible for operational excellence and process improvement; ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. The DC Manager also oversees talent acquisition, development, and retention of associates. This position will work closely with the VP of Supply Chain to leverage analysis, modeling and forecasting ensuring the Distribution Center has the capacity, speed, and cost-to-serve characteristics necessary to meet the demands of assigned Service Centers, specialized divisions, and customers.
Job Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in the distribution of commercial and/or industrial products, preferably in electrical distribution
Highly effective user of ERP systems (preferably SAP), Warehouse Management Systems and barcode technology
3-5 years of experience in fleet management
