Our client is a large industrial manufacturer in the greater Kenosha, WI area. We are beginning a partnership in search for their next Director of Supply Chain. They have been in business for over twenty-five years and operate and have grown rapidly. The organization works closely with its customers to design and build solutions that satisfy specific needs and individual applications. As a result, their low volume-high mix product line is the most diverse of any major manufacturer in their industry.
The Director of Supply Chain will establish then implement supply chain strategies for sourcing, cost savings, and continuous improvement that delivers total cost savings. He/She will be responsible for managing processes for material planning, production fulfillment, logistics, procurement, and supplier negotiations. In addition, the Director manages KPIs for working capital turns and inventory control mitigating risks. They will be tasked with improving supply base capabilities and reducing overall supply risk.
