Lucas Group has partnered with a rapidly growing live entertainment company in a search for a Director of Sponsorship Sales.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Privately held and established over 10 years ago, our client has themed live events in 15 major cities with plans to grow to over 50 locations in the next 5 years. They are positioned to take a leading position in the themed, live entertainment space with their recent investment from the same investors who’ve invested in companies like Live Nation.

SNEAK PEAK OF THE ROLE

As the first hire on the Sponsorship Sales Division, you will set the strategy, foundation and will source, acquire and manage sponsorship partnerships for the company’s portfolio of events. The ideal candidate will flourish in an entrepreneurial environment and will have capacity of leading a team for this department as it evolves over time.

DUTIES:

  • Craft long term opportunities that meet sponsors’ needs and deliver positive ROI by leveraging all of the company's assets
  • Identify prospective companies and the correct individuals to pitch
  • Incorporate analytics and measurement analysis into prospecting and sales strategy
  • Create and maintain a calendar of prospect meetings, presentations, and key calls
  • Create powerful and dynamic presentations
  • Pitch companies and other prospects
  • Build relationships with potential and existing sponsors
  • On board sponsors as they are closed
  • Manage communications and hold progress meetings
  • Manage and execute fulfillment
  • Interface with operational and marketing teams
  • Organize and maintain data related to demographics, deal points, and sales
  • Create & deliver wrap reports
  • Meet annual sales quotas
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of sponsorship sales experience, event sponsorship sales experience a plus
  • Established relationships and proven track record
  • Professional, presentable, and has a cheerful attitude
  • Adaptable - can deal with a pushy sales person, an immature student, and the President of the United States
  • Can work within a diverse team or be a singular force that gets the job done
  • Eagerness to take on challenging opportunities
  • Creative and an outside of the box thinker
  • Detailed oriented, organized, and plans ahead, can get to inbox zero every day
  • Doesn’t gossip and has great discretion
  • Is available during business hours, willing to travel, and put in hours whenever / wherever to get the job done
  • Masters or Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite or G Suite, Familiarity with Adobe products preferred
