Director of Sales – Senior housing Consultant

Lucas Group has partnered with a leader in senior housing consulting and marketing arena to find a Director of Sales to consult with their new and existing clientele. This person will be responsible for oversight of assigned client, on site sales teams and for advancing their strategy to increase occupancy. Coaching, training, trouble shooting and being active in sales are all part of this role for the organization.
 

COMPANY

Our client is a well-established, reputable and well-known organization in the industries they serve mainly Healthcare and Senior Living organizations that need help with marketing, census or occupancy, strategy, etc. They have been around since the 80’s and are still growing and their sales consultant division is building the best team possible to serve their clients.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be a critical member of the sales team. The company has been building out a sales training arm for the last year or so and this position for them is being added due to the growth and demand of their client base growth. You will have the opportunity to travel to clients and help coach their teams on the consultant’s sales process and define strategy to help enhance their sales or performance of sales teams.  This a  great opportunity to make an impact on the growth of this division.


SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years minimum of successful experience selling senior housing, preferably knowledge of CCRC sales
  • Proven track record of increasing occupancy and closing ration for self and team
  • Experience leading and developing a successful team in senior housing
  • Work closely with and coordinate sales and marketing process with the Client services team, the account services team, and the client’s internal sales and marketing team
  • Train the client’s sales and marketing team on the standard and best practices programs. Training will be done both onsite and via video conferencing, phone and Regularly communicate with the client’s executive team, providing up to date status of plan
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast- paced environment
     

PRIMARY LOCATION
Remote – Travel role – Preferably based in Midwest or East coast but open to all locations near major airport
