We have partnered with our client in their search for a Director of Reservations Systems Implementation. 

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the transformation of a legacy reservation system to a cloud-based SaaS solution 


As the Director of Reservations Systems Implementation, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of a large-scale enterprise reservation application that will run on AWS and handle millions of reservations a year. You will lead a team of 6 direct reports and 250-300 remote resources, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and quality across the project. You will also work closely with senior leaders from other business units, building trust and fostering communication. You will have little technical architecture direction responsibility, but much more inspirational leadership responsibility, as you will be accountable for bringing the entire team together and work as one for the common goal. This is a 3 year, $300M project with the first deliverable 18 months from now. 


  • 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale enterprise reservation application implementation, preferably in the travel industry (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, etc.) 
  • Strong technical background and understanding of cloud-based SaaS solutions, especially AWS 
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, and empower a diverse and distributed team 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organization 
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to travel to Miami and India as needed 
  • Plan, execute, and monitor the project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks, ensuring timely and effective delivery of the solution 
  • Manage and mentor the project team, providing guidance, feedback, and support 
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and collaboration with the business units, the call center, the B to B and B to C clients, and the downstream systems 
  • Ensure compliance with the project governance, standards, and best practices 
  • Report on the project status, progress, issues, and risks to the senior management and stakeholders 
  • Resolve any conflicts or escalations that may arise during the project lifecycle 
  • Facilitate the change management and adoption of the new system
