Lucas Group has partnered with one of the World’s leading designers, manufacturers and distributors of air conditioners, furnaces, water heaters, cooking appliances and other related products to identify a Corporate Director of Procurement. The Director of Procurement will report to the Group President and will be responsible for all Direct & Indirect Procurement Spend totaling more than $300MM.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define Procurement strategy and drive implementation
- Drive Procurement performance efficiency, capability and capacity optimization
- Aggregate and leverage spend to support Operational Excellence portion of Annual Operating Plan by delivering a sound yearly sourcing plan, with coherent actions to deliver targets
- Manage key stakeholders and business representatives
- Lead the management of key suppliers
- Support key strategic sourcing initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, procurement or business, MBA preferred
- 10 years of leadership experience within supply chain or procurement, to include working across business groups within multi-national organizations
- Technical skills including strong understanding of the procurement operating model (organization, purchase to pay) processes; negotiation skills; excellent knowledge of operations management and supply chain processes in a large organization; and knowledge of effective technology driven-sourcing processes
- CPM or CPSM/CPSD certification desired
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred
