Lucas Group is exclusively representing an elite hospitality client in Los Angeles, CA as they bring on their Director of People & Culture.
The Director of People & Culture will oversee running of the Human Resources function within this property. Responsibility includes direct involvement in labor relations, recruitment and retention, employee communications, career development, wage & hour compliance, learning and development, workers’ compensation and legal matters related to hotel employees.
The best fit would have at least five years of HR Director level experience in a hospitality environment. Applicants are required to have three years or more previous employment in a related position. Human Resources or Hospitality Education is preferable, however, not essential if applicants have previous relevant work experience. Labor relations and union experience preferred.
Candidates should have proven and demonstrable success leading the HR function, working with senior leadership onsite and implementing and enforcing strong HR practice. A college degree is preferred as well as HR Certifications.
