We are exclusively retained by them on a Director of Operations search for their location in the Green Bay, Appleton, and Oshkosh metro area.

The Director of Operations is responsible for managing the operational strategies for this business unit. We are seeking someone with a strong technical and functional background to help the organization drive performance, develop the talent within the site, and make the strategic decisions to ensure long-term growth.

Director of Operations Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic plan to deliver results to meet business objectives.
  • Work with Engineering, Production, Corporate Finance, and external Suppliers to develop and implement initiatives to improve the product lines.
  • Manage the Operations and Labor budgets.
  • Drive metrics to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, and delivery are meeting expectations while maximizing capacity.
  • Lead benchmarking activities.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Materials & Procurement teams.
  • Oversee the hiring and development of talent within the organization for current & future needs of the business.
  • Management of Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Material Management, Facilities, and Production Support teams & employees.

Director of Operations Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A Master’s degree or any relevant certifications is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in managing operations.
  • Previous experience managing P&L with strong budgeting, planning, and inventory management skills.
  • Proven Operations leadership including developing talent, delivering results, and ability to resolve conflict.
  • Must be able to interact with customers.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead or delegate multiple projects at a time.
