The Lucas Group is searching for a talented and enthusiastic Director of Mercedes-Benz Strategic Partnerships for a top client in Atlanta. Our client is the automotive industry's leading marketing firm, specializing in multichannel marketing services driven by data and technology and is one of the fastest- growing companies in the U.S.

The Director of Mercedes-Benz Strategic Partnerships will develop our client’s agency partnership with Mercedes-Benz at the Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 levels. The ideal Director of Mercedes-Benz Strategic Partnerships candidate will be able to build relationships with Mercedes-Benz corporate and other agencies of record. This Director of Mercedes-Benz Strategic Partnerships role will require strong relationship skills and the ability to properly communicate our client’s unique value propositions their proprietary technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•     Build strong, long-lasting relationships with enterprise-level contacts at Mercedes-Benz and other agencies of record

•     Plan, implement, and manage sales activities and create a robust pipeline to meet annual revenue

targets and business goals

•     Generate sales opportunities and guide them through to successful closure

•     Scope Mercedes-Benz COOP products and help define business solutions that best satisfy Mercedes- Benz clients' needs to achieve their desired business outcomes

•     Present unique value propositions to Mercedes-Benz and other agencies of record top-level executives

•     Evolve the client’s unique capabilities to deliver complex, leading-edge, industry-specific custom software and marketing solutions through presentations and discussions, participation at events, speaking engagements and trade shows

REQUIREMENTS

•     BA/BS in marketing, communications, business administration or a related field is required
•     5+ years automotive marketing experience working with Mercedes-Benz or one of their AORs is required
•     5+ years OEM experience or enterprise OEM sales or business development experience is required
•     Business or technology consulting experience is a plus
•     In-depth understanding of the enterprise environment, including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, needs, challenges, and trends is required
•     Experience with strategic and analytical sales approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships
