Currently, we are partnered with an international retail company with U.S. headquarters in Denver, Colorado to identify a Director of IT Operations.
SUMMARY:
Are you ready to take the reins of the U.S.-based technology operations for a fast-paced, rapidly growing retail chain? Reporting directly to the CIO, the successful candidate will lead and manage IT operations for the corporate office as well as over 130 retail locations. This person will be heavily involved in advancing all aspects and initiatives for back office systems, business systems, and store systems for current stores and new acquisitions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and pragmatic hands-on support of IT systems and services
- Ensure growth and success of business operations through delivering highly reliable, secure and quality IT service and systems.
- Ensure PCI, audit compliance of IT services and systems
- Manage IT service and support partners
- Contribute to the definition, development and execution of major IT projects
- Maintain uptime across network of retail stores
- Support the integration of acquired businesses
- Manage and maintain the security of IT systems
- Direct and lead distributed IT teams
- Establish and manage support metrics with a business service focus
- Evaluate new technologies against business requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-10 years’ experience in global environment
- 5-10 years’ experience leading IT Operations (engineer, support, security, etc)
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions
- Experience in managing distributed teams
- Experience in multi-site retail sector
- Experience in audit compliance required; PCI strongly preferred
