Director of Infrastructure and Operations

Job Description

The Director of Infrastructure and Operations will drive the digital transformation initiatives as well as improve the existing operational processes while adhering to the client's cyber-security program objectives and regulatory requirements. This role will have primary focus on critical infrastructure components such as but not limited to: networking, server, storage, applications, and corporate technology operations. The ideal candidate for this role will be a dynamic individual and team player capable of leading a team, quickly assessing the needs of stakeholders, delivering services that meet the needs of clients, and creating and executing effective and efficient operational plans. This role will be based out of the Manhattan office.

Job Requirements

  • Effectively oversee the infrastructure team and manage deployment, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and support of critical data center / cloud operations;
  • Lead the corporate technologies group responsible for: customer service, SaaS applications, enterprise toolsets, O365, laptop/mobile, office networking; WiFI, AV/VC, telephony, printing;
  • Lead incident/problem, change, service, asset, and lifecycle/license management as well as capacity planning activities;
  • Work with direct reports to develop operational reports, dashboards (CIO and other), and processes to monitor and analyze availability, SLA and performance metrics;
  • Adhere to compliance and audit review policy and procedures for infrastructure and operational areas; conduct internal audits in accordance with HIPAA, HITRUST and NIST CSF;
  • Participate and drive business continuity and disaster recovery of company's information systems, including needs analysis, improvement plans, testing and documentation updates;
  • Lead continuous improvements in technology; upgrades, standardization, modernization, policy, procedure and operational best practices;
  • Manage budget, priorities, projects, schedules, resources, issues and risks effectively;
  • Other duties as required.
