Lucas Group has partnered with a well-known manufacturing and design company in their search for a Human Resources Director. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment! The HR Director will be responsible for providing day-to-day advice and assistance on all HR matters in a production setting, with a heavy focus on employee relations.  This strategic thinking individual will be working closely for top management to set the strategy for HR policies that support the mission of the business and are coordinated with the parent company’s strategies and direction.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Preferred Master’s Degree
• Certification by the SHRM
• Experience in LEAN Manufacturing Principles

Experience Requirements:

• 8-12 years of HR experience, 8 plus years’ experience in employee relations.
• Must have management experience.
• Experience with both union & non-union populations.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all HR functions in a manufacturing company’s plant site.
• Engage with all factory workers regularly on all employee relations matters.
• Serve as a trusted HR Leader for a diverse workforce, and deliver on parent company’s strategy and mission.
• Additional responsibilities as necessary.
