Role Overview:  Lucas Group has partnered with a leading manufacturing company on their search for a Director of HR.  The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR from compensation to benefits to employee relations to performance management and much more with a heavy focus on talent acquisition. This individual will provide HR expertise, guidance and advice to ensure the best use human capital practices across the company. The Director will provide strong HR leadership to a team of three direct reports while partnering closely with the VP of HR and other executive leaders to support the goals and objectives of the enterprise.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Design, direct and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with company goals and objectives
• Manage the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent
• Develop and implement the talent management program
• Coordinate HR activities to ensure legal compliance
• Coordinate and continue to enhance training, development and succession planning
• Develop and manage metrics to measure growth and performance
• Additional projects as necessary

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
• At least 8+ year’s progressive HR experience
• SPHR certification preferred
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent management and communication skills
