Lucas Group has partnered with a world-leader in the manufacturing and design of plumbing products to identify a Director of EHS. The Director of EHS will be responsible for overseeing all employee health, safety and environmental compliance for 5 manufacturing sites, 750+ employees.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or related field
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years leading an EHS program
- Past experience leading an EHS Program for a 500+ Headcount
- Experience leading EHS programs in a Manufacturing Environment
Responsibilities:
- Supports all manufacturing facilities with environmental health and safety initiatives
- Educates and trains the workforce on emergency response procedures, handling hazardous materials, and other aspects of environmental management
- Supports safety efforts by conducting audits and inspections, investigations, reporting statistics, and counseling associates
- Ensures all EH&S accidents, injuries, near misses, and other events are captured and the data is managed and reported. Manage the OSHA 301/300 record keeping requirements
