Director of Accounting
Job Description
Responsible for the Financial and Management Reporting (Multiple entities), Budgeting, Cash Management/Treasury, Develop Policies, Tax work papers for internal Tax department, ensure Accounting Software is maintained, upgraded etc.
Manage and develop a team 5 including an Accounting Manager
Manage real estate allocations (CAM, tenant recoveries, etc)
Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting
Work collaboratively with various leadership teams, 3rd party management, tenants, etc.
Intangibles needed for success in this role include executive presence, confident, enjoy a fast paced, dynamic environment, manage conflicting deadlines, flexible, adaptable to change, highly organized, detailed with a high level of customer service.
Job Requirements
Must have a CPA and 7+ years direct, experience in the Real Estate Development business, preferably developer of commercial, mixed used property.
Industry Experience required, Public Accounting experience preferred
Accounting degree, CPA required, MBA +
4+ years Management experience
