The Lucas Group is searching for an experienced and talented Director – Digital Strategy to add as a key member of our client’s team. This is an East Coast-based remote/work-from-home opportunity and will require some travel. Our client is a global MarTech agency that solves marketing problems with technology solutions, delivering unique client experiences across channels driven by data, experience design and marketing technology.

The Director - Digital Strategy will define the digital roadmap for the client, focusing on helping clients identify what they need to do to better connect with their audience, map their business requirements to digital marketing solutions and provide oversight to the strategic implementation of these solutions. The Director - Digital Strategy will play an instrumental support role to our BD and Account Management teams and provide credentialed thought leadership while guiding, delivering, and pitching the work.

The Director - Digital Strategy will provide leadership and direction to the global strategy team and accountable for the overall Americas strategy team’s performance, the achievement of goals and targets, and the alignment with the business’s strategy. The Director - Digital Strategy will collaborate across the organization to shape stories and to identify new and compelling mediums to present them in, driving forward the vision from conceptual and creative ideation through cross-channel execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Work with C-suite executives to problem-solve on their key issues and provide actionable recommendations leveraging your technology know-how and business sense.
· Apply standard consulting frameworks and methodologies and teach others to leverage those consulting techniques and application of tools in the proper context.
· Execute strategy consulting engagements where we help clients re-architect their digital capabilities to align with their goals for their customer experience.
· Provide consulting services to key clients; and drive continuous customer experience optimization.
· Enable clients to think and operate differently across omni-channel, commerce, digital experience, brand development, data/technology, analytics insights, research, human/culture, capital and change management considerations.
· Create actionable recommendations through strategic roadmaps that align the clients and organizations with their strategic goals and initiatives.
· Support account managers and the business development team in presenting our strategic capabilities to vetted prospects and clients.
· Create thought-leadership content to promote the brand, represent the company through speaking engagements and participation in industry groups.
 

KPI’s

· Ensure clients are delighted with work - we strive for 100% referenceable customers and believe that each engagement is an opportunity to build long-standing relationships and partners.
· Customer journey/digital touchpoint mapping.
· Build and manage web properties as part of an integrated approach.
· Process improvements to enable more agility with website /mobile /social platforms.
· Use mobile to support operational improvement efforts, customer engagement initiatives /new business opportunities.
· Overhaul customer-facing technology systems.
· Build applications that support the customer engagement model or other digital initiatives.
· Establish digital metrics and measurements.
 

REQUIREMENTS

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study is required.
· 10+ years of professional experience in digital marketing, specifically including CMS, Marketing Automation, CRM, Community, Social Media, Cognitive Computing, AI, eCommerce and analytics is required.
· Experience working at a Digital Agency in digital marketing for both B2C and B2B clients is required.
· Deep experience in digital domain – with strong digital marketing experience.
· Recognized as a thought leader and evangelist in digital marketing.
· Experience of working with multiple (2 or more) digital agencies of record.
· Agency background is a must and must have B2B experience besides B2C experience.
· A strong background in defining digital strategies for clients across web, mobile and social eco-system, specifically for large websites, integrated digital marketing programs, ecommerce, social media is required.
· Experience being involved in UX of projects
· Experience in business development and creating pitches/proposal, leadership, management, and communication skills.
· The ability to roll-up sleeves and lead by example at both strategic and tactical levels.
· Travel: As needed (approximately 20% - 30%).
