Role Overview: Lucas Group has partnered with a leading organization on a search for their next Director, Compensation & Benefits. This is an exciting, and rapidly growing organization with employees distributed across North America and overseas.
This position will report directly to the Head of Human Resources and will be responsible for the strategy, design, development, implementation and ongoing administration their compensation, benefits and wellness programs.

  • Manage global annual salary and merit increase process.
  • Develop global compensation and benefit structure and programs, policies and procedures to meet contractual, legal and strategic objectives on a global basis.
  • Recommends cost effective changes or enhancements to benefit programs which provide for the short and long-range health and welfare protection of the employees. Standardize benefit plans where possible.
  • Utilizes and obtains survey data and industry compensation data to determine competitive position and recommend changes in salary structure and compensation structure as required.
  • Directly manages relationships with benefit providers or indirectly through regional HR staff to ensure excellent service and support.
  • Work with HR and Finance to oversee compliance and administration of global retirement and/or pension plans.
  • Responsible for the development and administration of short- and long-term incentive programs.
  • Maintain internal and external equity among positions between business units and global locations.
  • Provide direction and support in relocating staff to various locations in the world including visas, expatriate compensation and other mobility programs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits
  • Minimum 3 Years Management Experience
  • Knowledge and extensive experience in HR, Compensation and Benefits, and experience with payroll practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and the ability to use diplomacy in working within multi-cultural environment and with multiple levels of the organization.
  • Change management experience.
