Lucas Group has partnered with a well-established, Houston-based client in their search for a Senior DevOps Engineer.
The Senior DevOps Engineer will play an instrumental role in the organization-wide Agile transformation and implementation of DevOps processes by collaborating with software development and systems teams. This will involve individual and group training sessions on continuous integration, testing, delivery and monitoring, along with advising senior level management regarding operational and process improvements.
Previous exposure to a DevOps environment is needed.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools, including but not limited to Jenkins, Docker, Chef and/or Puppet is strongly preferred, along with a thorough understanding of GitHub Version Control. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is also a tremendous plus.
