We have partnered with our client in their search for a DevOps Engineer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jules and Jenkins; manage release processes and automation.
  • Automate application deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Lead and support release rollouts, including Level 3 production support and incident resolution.
  • Drive end-to-end testing, covering both functional and non-functional aspects (performance, security, reliability).
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business flows and the technology stack supporting the Equities OMS.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to business partners, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Influence product design, application architecture, and operation

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithms.
  • Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments.
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application security.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness of industry technology trends and best practices.
