Title: Data Management Consultant - Ataccama ONE (Catalog & Data Quality)

We have partnered with our client in their search for a Data Management Consultant - Ataccama ONE (Catalog & Data Quality). This role designs and operates the Ataccama ONE platform-specifically Catalog and Data Quality (DQ)-to enable enterprise data governance and trusted data. It partners with data stewards, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to align the metamodel, rules, and workflows with governance standards and priority use cases. Success is measured by reliable platform performance, increased catalog adoption, and measurable improvements in data quality and lineage visibility, supported by clear documentation and training.
Responsibilities
- Architect and configure Ataccama ONE components (Catalog and Data Quality) for enterprise-scale deployments
- Design and maintain the Ataccama metamodel aligned to organizational data governance standards
- Develop, test, and implement data quality rules, workflows, and monitoring dashboards to track data health
- Collaborate with data stewards, architects, and business stakeholders to define and evolve governance frameworks
- Lead onboarding of new data domains and use cases into Ataccama, ensuring smooth integration and adoption
- Establish processes for metadata capture, business glossary curation, and lineage visibility within Ataccama ONE
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and training that enable self-service adoption by internal teams
- Partner with platform and security teams to manage environments, access, and operational runbooks
Skills Required
- Ataccama ONE Catalog configuration, curation, and glossary management
- Ataccama ONE Data Quality rule design, profiling, workflow orchestration, and monitoring
- Ataccama metamodel design, extension, and version control
- Data governance frameworks including policies, roles, and stewardship processes
- Metadata management and lineage techniques to support impact analysis and compliance
- Platform administration including environment configuration, backups, and access management
- Dashboarding and reporting within Ataccama to track data quality metrics and trends
- Stakeholder facilitation and communication across data stewards, architects, and business users
- Technical documentation and training development for platform adoption
- Operates with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to foster a respectful work environment
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience implementing and administering Ataccama ONE (Catalog and Data Quality) in enterprise settings
- Experience managing and extending metamodels to meet evolving business requirements
