We have partnered with our client in their search for a Java/Spark Data Engineer in NYC.
Responsibilities
- Create/manage ETL pipelines for the data lake and Snowflake; automate data analysis/aggregation work.
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Build applications that will run on the bank's internal cloud and the public cloud platform
- Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team
- Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate
Skills Required
- Data lake, AWS, ETL, Snowflake, Control?M, Airflow,
- Python PySpark or Java Spark
Education & Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience
