Data Analytics Architect (Principal Level)
Overview
The Data Analytics Architect is a senior, hands on technical leader within a global, multi product organization. This role focuses on a centralized data analytics and intelligence platform, responsible for refining and unifying data to support enterprise reporting and AI/LLM driven outcomes. The position combines deep technical execution with architecture, design leadership, and team mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead for a centralized analytics and intelligence solution
- Design and implement scalable data architectures supporting analytics and AI initiatives
- Refine, rationalize, and coalesce data from multiple source systems into unified destinations
- Map multiple source databases to data warehouses and analytics platforms
- Define and implement data models that enable consistent reporting outcomes
- Write and maintain data transformation logic using Python
- Build and execute ETL/ELT pipelines using enterprise data integration tools
- Own data pipelines end to end, including execution, monitoring, and optimization
- Automate and operationalize data pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Establish best practices for data quality, governance, and consistency
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and platform teams with varied tech stacks
- Influence and set technical direction while remaining fully hands?on
- Mentor engineers and analysts across teams
Required Experience
- Strong background in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics engineering
- Hands?on Python experience in production data environments
- Experience with enterprise ETL/ELT tooling and data warehousing
- Experience implementing CI/CD automation for data pipelines
- Proven ability to operate at a Principal or technical lead level
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills
