Data Analytics and Report Design Analyst (Closed)

Lucas Group has partnered with our manufacturing client in Newnan on their search for a Data Analytics Analyst. The ideal candidate will be confident in using a variety of data analytic tools and methods, and be skilled in the process of data cleansing and preparation. The candidate will have significant experience with Cloud Storage solutions and toolsets (JSON, NoSQL databases, AWS, S3, ATHENA, RedShift) as well as analytics languages and toolsets (PYTHON, R, Tableau, Java, SQL Query).

What You Will Do :

• Obtaining and understanding customer required deliverables for all assigned analytics projects.
• Creating and understanding data retrieval methods for different databases/datasources.
• Improving data quality by utilizing in-line data scrubbing/data cleansing/data enhancement logic.
• Perform complex data analysis, including root cause analysis, regressions, correlations and optimizations.
• Synthesize and simplify complex data into meaningful business models/patterns that can drive performance improvement.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.

Educational & Work Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field of study.
• 2+ Years of experience in a data analytics role utilizing statistical and visualization tools.
