Lucas Group has been engaged by one of out clients in the Galleria area seeking for a Credit Analyst. This position is a contract with potential for hire after a period of 6 months.
Term:
Contract (6 months w/potential for hire)
Compensation:
$25/hr. - $31/hr.
Title:
Credit Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement analysis to determine Credit limits at the Commercial level.
- Ability to calculate financial ratios to determine financial viability
- Interface with internal employees (sales team) and external customers in a professional manner.
- Process credit applications on a high volume environment.
- Utilize additional tools such as Excel, D&B Reports S&P and others to support credit decisions
- Special projects on a ad hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business (Finance or Accounting preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit underwriting at a corporation
- Extensive knowledge of financial statements, and ability to analyze the numbers to determine credit limits
- Advanced Excel
