Our client is seeking a driven Cost Accountant to join their team! As the Cost Accountant, you will have the opportunity to help drive process improvement initiatives and grow into analysis. Our client has a great compensation and benefit package, casual environment, and growth opportunities.
Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in accounting)
- Entry level accounting position (internship experience required)
- Manufacturing / cost accounting experience preferred
- ERP experience and strong Excel skills
Responsibilities:
- General accounting responsibilities including month end close
- Standard costing, cost variances
- Strong communication cross-functionally with other departments
- Process improvement opportunities, ad-hoc reporting and analysis
