TEMPORARY REAL ESTATE / BANKING & FINANCE PARALEGAL
Immediate opportunity, 35/ hr pay rate. Large law firm’s Midtown Manhattan offices
- Support attorneys in busy finance practice with corporate and real estate closings
- Firm represents major banks and other financial institutions with lender- side debt and equity transactions.
- Work directly with lender clients to help close finance transactions
- Commercial Code (UCC) searches from state agencies.
- Conducts due diligence.
- Prepares and maintains closing checklists for each matter.
- Prepares closing documents and certificates for transaction closings and coordinates execution of same.
- Prepares post-transaction closing binders.
Must have proven ability to handle all support aspects of a commercial transaction including title/survey review, UCC research and filings, due diligence, document drafting, and closing/post-closing procedures.
