Reputable international law firm’s Boston office is seeking a corporate paralegal with 2+ years of corporate and securities experience.
Qualified paralegals will have
- 2-5 years of experience in a law firm setting. Large law firm experience is strongly preferred.
- BA/BS degree
- Paralegal certificate is a plus
- Availability to work overtime as needed
- Experience using Carta, eShares, or similar web-based equity tracking system
Responsibilities:
- Support busy partners and associates in growing corporate practice
- Support private and public company financings and mergers, including coordinating closings and preparing related documents
- Prepare legal opinions and assembling opinion back-up
- Prepare corporate and securities filings
- Organize corporate records for both private and public companies
- Prepare stock certificates and ledgers
- Use Carta and eShares for tracking equity
