Corporate Accountant
Description of Responsibilities
We are looking for an Accountant with 4 + years experience in Corporate Accounting who has experience with the General Ledger, Financial Reporting and an understanding of the impact a transaction will have on the Financial Statements. This role will be involved with and responsible for certain aspects of the following:
- Monthly close for multiple entities;
- Calculate and record certain accruals;
- Accounting for certain reserve accounts
- Accounting for leases and fixed assets
- Assist with Financial Statement review
- Prepare and record monthly journal entries
- General ledger account reconciliations
- Audit schedules and audit requests
- Sales & Use taxes
- Coding and posting vendor invoices as needed
- Ad Hoc requests
Qualifications:
- Accounting Degree or Finance Degree with 15+ accounting hours, CPA /parts passed is a plus
- 4+ years acccounting experiece; Public Accounting is a plus
- Intermediate Excel
- Navision and Hyperion experience is a plus
