Confidential Financial Services Client | Contract / Interim
Location: Jersey City, NJ - Hybrid, 3-4 days onsite per week
Duration: Six months, with potential to extend
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, standard daytime business hours
Compensation: $70-$90 per hour W2, plus access to benefits, PTO, and a 401(k)

Korn Ferry is seeking a Net Capital Regulatory Reporting Consultant for an interim assignment with a global financial services client. The consultant will support the client's Controllers / Regulatory Reporting organization, providing hands-on broker-dealer net capital expertise across calculations, monitoring, reporting, capital-impact analysis, and related controls.
This assignment is through Korn Ferry, which holds the contract with the client. The role reports to a Managing Director within Regulatory Reporting / Controllers.
Support broker-dealer net capital calculations, reporting, monitoring, and analysis, including compliance with SEC Rule 15c3-1.
Monitor capital positions and analyze capital requirements, regulatory adjustments, and the treatment of financial positions under applicable broker-dealer rules.
Assess the net capital impact of transactions, positions, and new or existing business activity, including appropriate capital treatment.
Support net capital regulatory and financial reporting, including applicable FOCUS reporting.
Support controls, review procedures, and governance surrounding net capital calculations and regulatory reporting.
Partner with Controllers and other internal stakeholders on net capital matters, providing senior-level support to the broader regulatory reporting function.
Strong, hands-on net capital experience within a broker-dealer environment, including working knowledge of SEC Rule 15c3-1.
Direct experience with net capital calculations, monitoring, reporting, and analysis, along with strong broker-dealer regulatory reporting experience.
Experience assessing capital treatment and the impact of transactions and financial positions.
Experience supporting controls and review processes around net capital and regulatory reporting.
Background in Controllers, Finance, or Regulatory Reporting at a broker-dealer or investment bank.
Availability to work onsite in Jersey City 3-4 days per week.
