Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience
- Good tenure
- CPA strongly preferred
- Supervisory experience
- Soft skills - needs someone energetic, positive, upbeat, innovative and flexible (not stuck in doing things in a certain way). This is a very creative environment, so cookie-cutter and stoic personalities will not work well.
- Deltek accounting system experience is required
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising a team of 2 ( Staff Accountant, A/P processor)
- Responsible for all aspects of month-end close, financial accounting, financial reporting,financial analysis, a/p, a/r, payroll, human resources
- Assist/support the Owner in bringing to fruition new business initiatives
- Work with the Owner in selecting an external audit firm, and collaborate with the firm to for tax accounting & reporting
- Work with the Owner in establishing new banking relationships
