Lucas Group has partnered with our client in on their search for a Controller on a consulting basis to assist with reconciling their balance sheet and general ledger for an upcoming ERP implementation, as well as maintenance of the general ledger and the month-end close process. This position is expected to be 2-4 months in duration.
Scope of Responsibilities:
- General ledger and balance sheet reconciliation to prepare for an upcoming ERP Implementation
- Handle the month-end close process, quarter-end review with external auditors and assisting with the sales tax audit process.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, providing oversight to transactional accounting
Required experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of experience at a Controller level, with experience with small to mid-sized companies
- Experience with Cloud version of Dynamics Navision or Dynamics 365 Business Central (Required)
- Manufacturing or Logistics industry experience highly preferred
- Experience with Sales Tax Audits. Pulling documents and handling requests for auditors.
